Seriously, I lost my blog spot. I got completely side tracked at some point and forgot how or where to come back. I don't think it has anything to do with my grey hair or anything.......
Anyway, some of my sideways thinking got a little sidetracked by a stupid election, and now we are in the middle of another one. I really think that God in all of his infinite wisdom is looking down upon us stupid people (well) and He's grinning and shaking his head saying we have gotten exactly what we've asked for ever since David was appointed King. So get a grip on it people. Somebody is going to get elected in November and at least 49% of us are not going to like it. Yup. And guess what, not many of us have our own private jets and get to take vacations in exotic locations and have our own body guards. Nope. After January 21, we will all be in the same neighborhood, working and complaining about the same jobs and we will still have our same little circle of friends, and some of them just might be the other 51% that is going to be happy about that outcome. I don't know about all y'all but I still want to be friends with those 51%'ers. Nothing is going to change anyway - the only thing is that it's going to be harder to blame Bush for everything. I mean good grief, you'd think that man single handedly masterminded the whole financial fiasco and that every evil person on Wall Street was a flipping Republican. Well I hate to tell you but...... you know. We are all going to get on with our lives whether we like it or not and people in Washington will continue being stupid at the public's expense and nothing short of the Apocalypse is going to change it, so we in our little middle class neighborhoods and trailer parks may as well try to get along. The thing is that if we aren't smart enough to change things at the local level how in the world do we think we can change things at the national level? 'Nuff said 'til next time.....
